Gynaecology ultrasound scans
Gynaecology scans to image the pelvic organs are carried out at Berkshire Independent Scanning. Both transabdominal and transvaginal (looking through the vagina) are available.
At the beginning of the ultrasound scan the Sonographer will take a brief history and explain the scan in more detail. There will be plenty of time to discuss the procedure. At the end of the appointment a typed report will be available for you to take away. Berkshire Independent Scanning can e-mail or fax reports to referring doctors in the country or abroad. Please let staff know the best option for you.

Ultrasound scans are an important part of any fertility treatment. Patients are able to combine treatment at clinics such as Harley Street and the ultrasound scans at Berkshire Independent Scanning. The company also works closely with the IVI clinic in Barcelona.
