Ultrasound scans are an important part of any fertility treatment and at Berkshire Independent Scanning we are happy to work with your Specialist (either within the UK or abroad) and to provide any ultrasound scans that may be required.
At your request, we can report directly to your Specialist and are happy to provide written reports and/or scan images.
Our services include:
Follicle trackingThis may be requested to check the position of the uterus and to determine if there are fibroids or polyps present that could cause complications with the implantation of an embryo; the ovaries are also scanned and measured.
Blood and urine tests (all samples are sent to The Doctors’ Laboratory in London)Follicle tracking is recommended in many patients to document clearly ovarian function, follicular development and maturation. It is also used to optimise the timing of insemination or egg collection. The scan includes endometrial thickness measurements, which are used to document uterine response to hormone treatment.

At Berkshire Independent Scanning we offer competitive pricing and because we understand that, when undertaking follicle tracking, a number of scans may be required, we adjust our prices accordingly for serial scans.
